Questions couples ask us

How many guests can Borgo Antichi Orti host?

Up to 200 guests for the ceremony in the Hortuli gardens and up to 150 for dinner in the Garden or the Botanical Lab. Smaller settings suit 45 to 50 guests.

Can our guests stay at the estate?

Yes. Twelve residences on the estate can be reserved for your wedding party, and we book rooms nearby in Assisi for everyone else.

Is the ceremony legally valid?

A symbolic ceremony in the gardens can be combined with a civil or religious ceremony in Assisi. We explain the documents you need for your nationality and help you prepare them.

When should we book?

Saturdays from May to October are the most requested and are often reserved a year or more in advance. Tell us your date early and we will hold it while you decide.

Can we marry in a villa instead?

Yes. We also work with private villas by the sea, in Tuscany and on the lakes whose owners welcome weddings. We check guest numbers, music and curfews for each one before we propose it, and every service on this page is available there too.
