The villa
An aristocratic 19th century villa at the heart of a large estate of terraced hills and olive groves, with a private chapel and an ancient olive press. Bedrooms are decorated with hand painted walls and ceilings.
Inside
Three living rooms, a formal dining room, a banquet hall, a drawing room, a study, a billiard room, a wine tasting room and cellar, a Tuscan kitchen and a workout room. Eleven doubles, one convertible to twins, all en suite and all with views to Lucca. A chef cooks breakfast and one daily meal.
Outside
Formal Italian gardens at the front; behind, a walled garden with lawns around a floodlit 12 x 4 m pool. An arched loggia overlooking the camellia garden shelters outdoor dining, and there is a barbecue.

On a hillside estate above the valley, looking towards Lucca.

- Stays in high season usually run Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays are sometimes possible, just ask.
- A 30% deposit confirms the booking; the balance is due 60 days before arrival.
- The exact address and arrival details are in your travel voucher, sent before you leave.
- Around the house we can arrange a chef, daily housekeeping, transfers, boats and experiences.
