A private pool changes a stay on Lake Como. The lake itself is deep and cool, lovely for a plunge from the dock but slow to warm, so a pool in the garden becomes the place where the day settles: a swim before breakfast, shade at noon, a last dip as the far shore turns pink.
Of the 43 villas below, several have heated pools that stretch the season. At Torno, a heated infinity pool sits partway down terraced gardens that fall 40 m to a private dock. Most villa pools open in May and close in October; heated pools make the shoulder weeks far more inviting.
Many shoreline villas offer both, so you can swim in fresh lake water in the morning and warm up in the pool later.
The steep slopes shade some shores early, so ask which side of the lake keeps the pool terrace in sunlight until evening.

Is the pool private or shared?
Every villa in this selection has a pool for the guests of that villa. We note in our reply if an owner lives on the estate or shares the grounds.
How does an enquiry work?
Pick up to five villas and send your dates once. We confirm availability and price with each owner and answer within one working day. High season stays are usually Saturday to Saturday.
