The villa
A 16th century palace on the shore at Torno, built into the rock within a private lakeside estate. Six suites are named for former owners and guests; a statue of Neptune stands in the courtyard and a spring runs beneath the house into the lake.
Inside
Seventeen bedrooms across six self contained suites, each with its own kitchen and sitting room, for up to 33 guests. The noble floor, divided by a grand loggia, holds two salons, a dining hall, a billiard room and a kitchen. A carved spiral staircase and a lift serve every level. One suite has its own boat entrance; another looks through an inner window onto the waterfall.
Outside
An infinity pool fed by water drawn from 50 m below the lake surface, a spa with sauna, steam room and sensory showers, manicured gardens and panoramic terraces. Woodland trails lead to a tea house; golf carts cross the estate. Private boat dock and helipad.
