Capri villas with a private pool
Space is scarce on Capri. The island covers only about 10 km² of steep limestone, and a private pool here is a genuine luxury, set into terraces and gardens that took generations to shape. It changes the rhythm of a stay: you can swim at dawn or under the stars, skip the crowded bathing clubs, and spend the hottest hours in your own shade with the sea below.
The villas below all have one, and each pool has its own character. A saltwater infinity pool looks from high above Anacapri to Monte Solaro and the sea; a heated pool terrace sits above Marina Piccola, 750 m from the Piazzetta; and one pool terrace has a private staircase down to a cove facing the Faraglioni.

Some pools on the island are saltwater, gentle on skin and eyes; others are heated, welcome in spring and autumn. Ask which suits your dates.
Pools usually open in May and close at the end of October. Outside those months, a villa with a heated pool is worth seeking out.
The bathing clubs are sociable but crowded in summer. A private pool lets you choose the hours, the music and the company.

Questions before you choose
Are the pools on Capri large?
The terrain limits their size, so many are modest in length but remarkable in setting. If you want to swim lengths, ask us and we will check the dimensions with the owner.
Are pools shared with other guests?
No. Each villa's pool is for the exclusive use of the people staying there.
When should we enquire?
For July and August the most sought after houses are often reserved well in advance. Send up to five villas in one request; we reply within one working day with availability and prices.
