When are the pools open?
Most pools around Lucca are open from May to October. Some owners heat theirs for the shoulder months; we confirm this with each house before you book.
Which airport is closest?
Pisa airport is roughly 30 minutes by car from Lucca, and Florence airport about an hour. A car is essential for the hill villas; the city centre is closed to most traffic.
Do we have to stay a full week?
In high summer most villas rent by the week, Saturday to Saturday. Outside July and August, shorter stays are often possible, and we ask each owner on your behalf.
