The villa
A rural estate built in the 1700s in the hills of Lucca, with original stone walls and red brick detailing. Restored with care, its interiors mix bohemian touches, antique and modern furniture and original artworks.
Inside
600 square metres on three levels. The ground floor has a lounge with piano and card table, a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with a large table, a laundry and a guest bathroom. Above is a double height lounge with marble fireplace; the top floor master suite has its own fireplace and a Jacuzzi. Eight bedrooms, five en suite, plus a shared bathroom.
Outside
Gardens fall over several levels, with lawns, citrus trees and climbing vines under a pergola that wraps the house. The 14 x 7 m pool, open from late April to September, looks over the valley, with a gazebo and a pool house. A loggia seats 12 for dinner.

In the hills 9 km from the historic centre of Lucca. Pisa airport is 44 km away, Pisa 27 km, Viareggio 34 km and Florence 79 km.
