Villas with a private pool in Positano
A private pool matters more in Positano than on most coasts. The beaches are pebble, busy in summer and reached by steep steps, so a pool on your own terrace becomes the centre of the day: a swim before breakfast, a book in the shade, another swim as the light turns gold over the bay.
Each of the 22 villas below has a pool of its own or within its grounds. One has a waterfall pool beside a 150 m² terrace; one sits above the sea with private lifts down to a beach; another is a 240 sqm apartment with a heated indoor pool near a 13th century tower. In the tower grounds, the pool is set among citrus gardens.

Outdoor pools generally open from May to October. For Easter or late October, choose a heated or indoor pool and ask us to confirm.
Many Positano pools sit on terraces cut into the cliff, so the water seems to meet the sea. Mention young children when you enquire.
In July and August the terraces take strong sun. Look for pergolas, lemon trees or a covered loggia close to the pool.

Is the pool shared with other guests?
Most are private to the villa. A few apartments share a pool with neighbouring units on the same estate; we state this clearly when we send you availability.
Can the pool be heated?
Some pools are heated, sometimes for an extra charge, and one of these apartments has an indoor pool. Ask for heating in your enquiry and we will confirm it with each owner.

Pick up to five from the list and send your dates in a single request. We contact the owners and reply within one working day with availability and the total price.
