The villa
A restored country house on the hillside between Positano and Piano di Sorrento, among lemon groves and olive trees, with antique furniture and vibrant colours. An electric gate opens onto a drive lined with olives and flowers.
Inside
The ground floor has a double living room, a stylish eat in kitchen, a dining loggia and a double with en suite bath, plus a guest bathroom. Upstairs are a single with an 18th century iron bed and a yellow double whose picture window frames the Li Galli islands. Two twin or double rooms are above, all en suite. A cottage 60 m away sleeps three more.
Outside
Private gardens of palms and bougainvillea surround an 11 by 5 m pool, 1 m deep, with sun loungers. Spacious terraces, a trellis covered relaxation area and a pergola with marble topped tables for dining outdoors.
Location
On the hills 5 km from Positano and 6 km from Piano di Sorrento, with private parking for four cars and two restaurants 350 m away. Sorrento is 9 km. Naples Capodichino Airport is 54 km.
