The villa
A restored hamlet in the Capannori hills, once the country residence of Count Cosimo Bernardini and home to olive presses, a bakery and a chapel. Terracotta floors, exposed beams and earthy tones keep the rustic elegance of a noble Tuscan estate.
Inside
A grand Tuscan kitchen, a banquet hall and several lounges, with a domed music room warmed by a log fireplace, a wine library of Tuscan labels, a card and billiard room and a fitness room. Twelve bedrooms: seven doubles, four twins that convert to doubles and one with a French bed, all en suite, several with Jacuzzi baths.
Outside
Manicured Italian gardens with ponds and antique fountains, courtyards and lemon scented pathways leading to gazebos and shaded seating, framed by centuries old trees and olive groves. The floodlit pool measures 18 x 8 m, and an outdoor dining area has a barbecue.

In the countryside of Capannori, among olive groves and vineyards, 7 km from the walls of Lucca. Pisa airport is 20 km away, Pisa 16 km, the Versilia coast 30 km and Florence 85 km.
