The villa

An 18th century villa in two hectares of gardens outside the village of Vorno, restored with Murano chandeliers, Tessieri tiles and antique furniture. The estate's lemons, olives and kiwis become its own olive oil, jams, candied fruit and limoncello.

Inside

Sitting rooms on three floors joined by a lift, a country kitchen, a formal dining room and a library. The lower ground floor holds a spa with a 5 x 5 m indoor pool with hydromassage, sauna and Turkish bath, and a wine cellar. Six doubles in the main house, all en suite; a guest house with three more en suite doubles is available on request.

Outside

An 18 x 8 m pool, a lake and shaded seating throughout, with a gazebo draped in white wisteria, an organic vegetable garden, a lemon grove and a kiwi pergola. A tennis court and a helipad complete the grounds.

Location

In the countryside 650 m from Vorno, with shops and a pharmacy five minutes by car. Pisa airport is 20 km away, Lucca 9 km, Pisa 16 km and Viareggio 30 km.
