The villa
A 17th century villa in parkland in the hills of Lucca, with frescoed rooms, antique furniture and the atmosphere of a noble Tuscan residence. A chef for breakfast and one daily meal and round the clock concierge are part of the stay.
Inside
Three reception rooms, a grand drawing room, a TV lounge, a card room, a library, two dining rooms and a breakfast room, with three fireplaces. A Tuscan kitchen is joined by a kitchen on each floor and a cellar with a wood burning oven. Seven bedrooms on two floors: four doubles, two twins and one with a French bed, all en suite.
Outside
Italian gardens with lemon trees, herb beds and centuries old cypresses, where a brook feeds two ponds shaded by weeping willows. The floodlit pool measures 20 x 10 m, with a gazebo and al fresco dining area nearby. Covered parking inside the grounds.
Location
In the countryside of Capannori, about 7 km from the centre of Lucca, with shops and services a few kilometres away. Pisa airport is 20 km away, Pisa 16 km, the Versilia coast 30 km and Florence 85 km.
