The villa
A 17th century farmhouse restored to a high standard in quiet rolling hills, 1.5 km from the medieval hamlet of Montelopio. Each stay includes a tasting visit to a classic local wine cellar.
Inside
On the ground floor, a living and dining room with a large table, a lounge with fireplace, a kitchen, and a double convertible to twins with en suite shower, plus an accessible bathroom. A stone and wrought iron staircase leads to a double and two twins, each en suite. Three single beds can be added upstairs.
Outside
A 15 x 5 m pool with Roman steps down to a Jacuzzi corner, shallow from 40 cm, and a furnished sun deck in a garden. A porch under a wrought iron pergola has sofas and a dining table.
Location
In the countryside 1.5 km from Montelopio, with a bar and trattoria, and about 8 km from Peccioli for shops and services. Castelfalfi golf is 12 km away, Volterra 26 km and Pisa airport 50 km.
