The villa
An 18th century house on the eastern shore of Lake Como, home to a baron and countess in the late 19th century, restored with original materials. Gilded ceilings in muted yellows and greens, terracotta floors, silks and hand woven rugs, in a wooded park.
Inside
Two wings. Wing A has living rooms, a kitchen and two doubles with private bathrooms. Wing B has the kitchen used by all, a living room and dining room, a master with Jacuzzi bath, a child's room, a further double, two double sofa beds and a top floor breakfast terrace. The Blüthner stands in the fireplace hall. Gym.
Outside
A 10 by 4 m pool with a terrace above it for dining and a furnished lounge. On request, an independent overwater loft with stone walls, a round king bed, a six metre retractable glass wall, its own garden, a terrace over the lake and a berth below.
