The villa
A family house right on the shore of Lake Como in the hamlet of Vassena, refurbished by its owner to its original elegance, in grounds of old trees and lawn reached by a private drive and remote controlled gate.
Inside
Three floors. The ground floor has a wide living area and kitchen, with six French windows onto the lake terrace. The first floor holds three doubles and two singles with three bathrooms, one en suite; three bedrooms open onto terraces. The top floor is an independent penthouse with its own kitchen, living area, a double, a single and a large private terrace.
Outside
A large lake terrace for meals, and a garden with barbecue and dining area overlooking the water. The pool has a sunbathing area with loungers and an outdoor shower, and a pergola nearby for lunch. A private landing stage serves boats.
Location
On the lakeshore at Vassena, a short drive from Bellagio. Como, Lecco, Lugano, Bergamo and Milan are all within about 90 minutes by car. Parking for three cars.
