The villa
A welcoming 17th century Tuscan farmhouse within a working agricultural estate, surrounded by woods and unspoilt countryside. Beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and soft natural colours throughout, with breakfast served each morning and daily housekeeping.
Inside
Two large sitting areas with an open fire, a dining room and a kitchen with an extra large oven, suited to cooking classes, plus a guest bathroom. Five doubles, each with its own spacious bathroom and far reaching views: two on the ground floor, three upstairs beside a quiet sitting room.
Outside
A 13 x 4.5 m infinity pool, 0.7 to 1.5 m deep, with sun loungers and views over the Montagnola Senese. A shaded pergola for outdoor dining with a barbecue and wood fired oven, a courtyard and floodlit gardens of scented Mediterranean shrubs.
Location
In woodland about 19 km from Siena, with villages offering shops and restaurants within ten minutes by car. Royal Golf La Bagnaia is about ten minutes away. Florence Airport is about an hour's drive.
