The villa
A historic Venetian house on the island of San Pietro di Castello, next to the church designed by Palladio in 1558 and the bell tower by Codussi. Four storeys with a lift, sleeping 12 adults and a child, plus four in the loft.
Inside
The ground floor holds the cavana, a vaulted room for dining and events, a gym with hot tub and the main kitchen. The first floor has a dining room opening to a terrace, a living room, study, second kitchen, a double and a twin. Four more bedrooms on the second floor, all six en suite, one with a Turkish bath. The loft adds four sofa beds and a shower room.
Outside
A garden with open air and covered living areas, a large pergola, a garden room and an outdoor kitchen. Two private docks, a former boat shelter used for dining, and a Venetian altana on the roof with sunset views over the city.
Location
In the Castello district near the Arsenale, on the Canale San Pietro, a 20 minute walk from Piazza San Marco. Shops, bars and restaurants line Via Garibaldi nearby. Murano is 5 km by water and Venice Marco Polo Airport 13 km.
