The villa
A 300 square metre masseria built in the late 19th century as a country residence for a local aristocratic family. Rustic, chic interiors are arranged as six independent suites and rooms across two floors, each with its own kitchen or kitchenette.
Inside
Eight double bedrooms across six units and two floors. On the ground floor, a suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two fireplaces, a suite with walk in wardrobe, and two garden rooms with en suite bathrooms. Upstairs, a two bedroom suite with fireplace and panoramic terrace, and a suite with a bathtub. Three sofa beds on request.
Outside
An 18 by 6 m infinity pool, fenced and sunny all day, sits in gardens of Mediterranean planting. A covered veranda holds the outdoor dining area with barbecue and wood fired pizza oven. Upper terraces look over the olive groves; one room has a private patio by the orchard.
Location
In quiet countryside 1 km from Cannole, with a pharmacy, supermarket and pizzeria, and 4 km from Carpignano Salentino. Otranto is 12 km, the beaches of Baia dei Turchi and Alimini close by, Lecce 30 km. Brindisi Airport is 80 km.
