Salve
A 16th century Salento masseria with a Gonzaga watchtower, 1,500 ancient olive trees and a heated natural swimming lake.
The villa
A 16th century fortified farmhouse on a 40 hectare estate that produces its own wine and extra virgin olive oil. Stone walls, wooden beams, stone vaults and warm cocciopesto finishes give the eight suites a quiet, rural character.
Inside
Eight suites, each with a king size bed and its own bathroom with shower. Four junior suites have chromotherapy showers, some with fireplaces; two family suites have separate living areas, one with a stone fireplace. The sea view suite sits in the 16th century watchtower, reached by a period staircase, with fireplace and small library. Shared living room and kitchen.
Outside
A natural biolake of 75 m², 1.8 m deep and heated in cooler months, lies among the olive groves by the Canale del Fano. The tower suite's terrace has loungers and views to the sea. A garden and an outdoor dining area complete the estate.
Location
In the countryside about 7 km from Salve and Torre Vado; the beach at Pescoluse is 5 km. Santa Maria di Leuca is 16 km and Gallipoli 35 km. Brindisi Airport is 118 km.
