The villa
An old mill in the Chianti countryside, with two dépendances made from a former sawmill and outbuildings. Traditional Tuscan character with careful modern touches: a room made from the old stable keeps its mangers, another has 200 year old plank floors and a crystal chandelier.
Inside
Sleeps 12 plus two. The main house: entrance lounge, dining area, kitchen, laundry, a living room with central beam and fireplace, and four en suite doubles, one with freestanding bath, one beside the millstone room. One dépendance: a double and a mezzanine twin sharing a bathroom. The other: a double with open shower, fireplace and kitchen with antique marble sink.
Outside
A 15 x 7 m pool with Roman steps and a large paved poolside, set in a generous garden of cypresses. A private beach on the river with loungers and a dining table. Loggias, outdoor lounge and dining areas, barbecue, and parking for 15 cars.

On the Pesa River, 2.7 km from the village of Sambuca and 7 km from Barberino Tavarnelle. San Casciano in Val di Pesa is 15 km, Greve in Chianti 14 km, Florence 35 km. Florence Airport is 37 km, Pisa Airport 87 km.
