The villa
A historic country estate between Catania and Syracuse, where aristocratic charm meets rustic Sicilian character. Antiques, heirlooms and pieces gathered on the owners' travels give each room its own style. Twelve bedrooms welcome 24 guests.
Inside
Twelve double bedrooms, each convertible to twin and each with en suite bathroom, air conditioning and minibar. Ten open onto the grand courtyard; two stand in the gardens, each with a private Jacuzzi. A living and dining room with fireplace, a kitchen, five guest bathrooms, a private chapel and a boutique spa with Turkish bath and sauna.
Outside
An 18 by 11 m saltwater pool lies enclosed by ancient dry stone walls. The Mediterranean garden has century old trees, shaded seating and views of Etna and the sea; an Italian garden with Indian inspired pavilions sets the scene for sunset aperitifs and candlelit dinners. Barbecue.

In open countryside about 13 km from the centre of Augusta, with the nearest bar, shop and pharmacy 10 km away. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is 31 km, Catania 36 km, Syracuse 39 km and Noto 65 km.
