The villa
A restored farmhouse whose origins date to around 1000 AD, made of two buildings, the main house and a tower, joined by a glass corridor, plus a guest house by the pool. Original arched windows frame the valley; the atmosphere is warm and traditional.
Inside
Eight en suite bedrooms for 16, twins convertible to doubles. The main house: a large kitchen with seven induction hobs, a dining room for up to 18, a laundry and two doubles. The tower: two living rooms with arched windows, a first floor sitting room with fireplace, four bedrooms and, at the top, a master suite with bathtub. Guest house with kitchenette.
Outside
A 9 x 5 m infinity pool with a small warm water hot tub for three or four, and a sundeck with loungers. A pergola shades the outdoor dining table, beside a shaded lounge area and a garden looking towards San Gimignano. Barbecue; parking for seven cars.
