The villa
A restored hilltop farmhouse and barn near Monteroni d'Arbia, over 700 sqm. Once on a pilgrim route to Rome, it housed the French commander of the Allied troops in the Second World War. Original beams, cotto floors and stone arches meet a contemporary layout.

An open kitchen and dining area with Tuscan fireplace, a living room with adjoining TV room, a forno room with its original brick oven and a courtyard with pergola dining. Main house: four king or twin bedrooms, all en suite, one master with freestanding bath, dressing room and sitting room. The barn: a sitting room with kitchenette and fireplace, and two en suite bedrooms.
Outside
An 18 x 5.5 m saltwater infinity pool with Roman steps, heated year round, with 360 degree views over the Crete Senesi. A hot tub for up to six, a pool house with sauna, gym and treatment room, and several outdoor dining spaces in five acres of cypress and olive.
