The villa
A 19th century house on the cliffs at Castiglione di Ravello, above Atrani, with a collection of antiques and four floors joined by a lift. Lemon and orange trees fill the gardens and terraces.
Inside
The lower ground floor has a living room with fireplace, a dining room with a long wooden table and a kitchen with a central island. Eight double bedrooms with sitting areas and en suite showers, two with spa bathtubs, run over three floors; three convert to twin. First floor rooms have sea view balconies. There is a wine cellar.
Outside
A heated swim spa, 4.30 by 2.30 m, with jets and counter current, stands at the best viewpoint, open May to October. A covered loggia holds tables, a wood oven and barbecue. There is a yoga area under the lemon trees, the sauna grotto and a private sea platform with sun beds.
Location
On the coast road at Castiglione, with a bus stop at the gate: 800 m from Atrani, about 1.5 km from Amalfi and Minori, and 5 km from the centre of Ravello. Two restaurants are a 10 minute walk. Positano is 19 km and Naples Capodichino Airport 61 km.
