The villa
A hilltop castle over four floors, damaged in the Second World War and rebuilt in the 1950s in the style of a 14th century fortress. Frescoes, beamed ceilings, fine fabrics and antique furniture throughout.
Inside
The upper floor holds a frescoed dining room and a living room with a large fireplace. Eight bedrooms follow over the lower levels, with seven bathrooms: six en suite, including the Count's room with its own arched terrace, and two sharing a bathroom. There is a children's living room, a sitting room, a rustic kitchen and a laundry. A resident maid prepares meals.
Outside
A garden with a pool of about 4 x 9 m, sun loungers and an arch vaulted loggia, and a courtyard with a large table for dining outdoors. Terraces from two bedrooms look across the valley.
Location
On a hill at Pedeguarda, about 1.5 km from the centre of Solighetto, with shops in Pieve di Soligo and Follina a few minutes' drive away and a tavern at the gate. Treviso is 34 km, Venice 86 km and Venice Marco Polo Airport 76 km.
