Florence
Four tall windows on Piazza Santa Croce, in a frescoed 16th century palazzo 30 m from the Basilica.
The villa
A 300 sqm apartment on the second floor of a 16th century palazzo with a lift, looking straight onto Piazza Santa Croce. Frescoes and painted ceilings uncovered in restoration set the palette for 18th and 19th century antiques and modern lighting.
Inside
A chef's kitchen centres on a table for twelve, with a collection of family recipes to cook from. There is a living area and an office. Five doubles, each with a marble en suite bathroom and walk in shower, are dressed in antique carpets, fine fabrics and bronze and brass details. Two trundle beds can be added on request.
Location
On Piazza Santa Croce, 30 m from the Basilica. Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio are 400 m away, the Duomo 550 m and the Ponte Vecchio 750 m. Florence Airport is 9 km away.
