The villa
A 19th century house renovated with the atmosphere of a traditional masseria, set within stone walls on olive clad hills that run down to the Adriatic. Vaulted ceilings, wrought iron canopy beds and arched French doors onto the garden.
Inside
Five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. On the ground floor, a canopy double with en suite, a twin and a single; in the annex opposite, a canopy double with a large tub and double basins. Upstairs, a master suite with sitting area and terrace. A living room with fireplace and vaults, dining room and kitchen.
Outside
An 11 by 11 m square pool, 1.5 m deep, with sun loungers and sea and countryside views; a bar area and shower room beside it. A shaded dining area with small outdoor kitchen and barbecue, and an outdoor lounge.
Location
In the hills 7 km from Ostuni, with pharmacies and bars in Montalbano. Cisternino is 16 km, the coast at Savelletri 22 km and Alberobello 32 km. Brindisi Airport is 47 km.
