Bringing a large party to the Amalfi Coast is easier in a single villa than across a string of hotel rooms. Meals can be shared or not, children can roam, and the house becomes a meeting point for days spent on boats, in Ravello or on the beaches of Maiori. The 22 houses below each have six bedrooms or more.
Their settings vary widely. Above the rooftops of Atrani, 12 frescoed bedrooms sit among lemon orchards, 400 m from the centre of Amalfi. A 17th century farmhouse near Amalfi has its own chapel; east of Maiori, a medieval watchtower offers a two level pool on a sheer cliff. Above Positano, an eight bedroom house comes with a cook and concierge.

A base around Amalfi or Atrani, at the centre of the coast, puts Ravello, Positano and the eastern beaches within easy reach by boat or road.
For a large group, a cook for a few dinners at the villa spares everyone the evening drive and keeps the table together.
A gozzo, the traditional wooden boat of the coast, can carry a group to Capri or along the grottoes for the day.

Questions before you choose
How early should large groups book?
For summer, ideally the autumn or winter before. Houses of six bedrooms or more are few, and the best dates go first. Spring and autumn offer wider choice.
Can the villa host a celebration during our stay?
Some owners allow a birthday or anniversary dinner, subject to their rules on guest numbers and music. Mention it in your request and we will ask each owner.
How does the request work for groups?
