Each of the seven villas below has a cook, a butler or staff living on site. The choice includes a villa on an Orvieto wine estate with a 16th century marble fireplace, a former Capuchin monastery with its own winery above Lake Trasimeno, and a house rebuilt on the ruins of a medieval defensive tower above a wooded valley.

Arrangements range from daily housekeeping to a live in cook; tell us how you like to be looked after and we match the house to it.
Ask whether the cook will teach a morning of handmade pasta; strangozzi and umbricelli need only flour, water and patience.
Orvieto's whites and Sagrantino from Montefalco are made nearby, and tastings at family wineries are easy to arrange by appointment.

What do staff usually cover?
It depends on the villa. Some include daily cleaning and a cook for set meals; others have a butler or a couple living on site. Food shopping is normally charged at cost. We confirm exact arrangements with each owner.
Is tipping expected?
It is not obligatory, but a gratuity for the staff at the end of the stay is customary when service has been good. We can suggest an appropriate amount.
How quickly will we hear back?
Send one request for up to five villas and we reply within one working day with availability, price and staff arrangements. Summer stays are usually Saturday to Saturday.
