The villa
A villa on a wine estate among rolling hills and vineyards outside Orvieto, furnished with antiques and refined detail. The owner, caretaker and cellar master live on the estate, five minutes' walk away. Five bedrooms sleep ten.
Inside
The ground floor has a living room with a 16th century marble fireplace, a dining area, a kitchen, a pantry, two guest bathrooms and a twin room with its own shower room. Upstairs, four suites, two doubles and two twins that convert to doubles, each with an en suite bathroom with bathtub and shower.
Outside
A 7 by 16 m pool, 1.30 to 1.90 m deep, looks out over the vineyards from a furnished sun deck in a large garden. A spacious veranda holds a dining table and barbecue area. Covered parking for six cars.
Location
In the countryside near the Decugnano dei Barbi winery, 4 km from a small supermarket at Colonnetta di Prodo. Orvieto is 19 km away, Todi 31 km, Lake Bolsena 35 km and Rome Fiumicino Airport 157 km.
