The villa
A stone house on a green hilltop, surrounded by 280 acres of private farmland, restored over two decades into an eclectic retreat. Handcrafted furniture and pieces from around the world fill the rooms. A main house and three cottages sleep 12, under dark, starry skies.
Inside
The main house has a salon and dining area, library, games room, kitchen, pantry, wine cantina and guest bathroom, with a sound system inside and out. Upstairs, a king bedroom with bathtub and two twin rooms: two en suite, one with a private bathroom outside. Each cottage has a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sofa bed for a child.
Outside
An 18 m heated pool with sculpted seating at the shallow end, and a shaded pergola for dining. A tennis court, a glass walled gym, a fire pit and an ancient pizza oven with barbecue. Paths wind past olive and fruit trees and a herb and vegetable garden. Six bicycles and table tennis.
Location
On a hilltop 13 km from Umbertide and 2 km from the Antognolla golf course. Perugia is 22 km away, Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport 29 km and Gubbio 30 km.
