The villa
A 14th century building that once held one of the estate's most important churches, the social heart of the land where farmers came to Mass. Ancient terracotta floors, the original kitchen and imposing stone walls remain. Four doubles sleep eight, among tall trees.
Inside
The ground floor has an open plan living and dining area, a separate sitting room, a living room in the former chapel, a kitchen, a guest bathroom, a laundry and one double with en suite shower room. Upstairs, three more doubles with shower rooms, two convertible to twins; one bathroom is reached by a short staircase.
Outside
An 11 by 5 m pool with a paved sun deck, surrounded by tall trees. A wooden decked terrace beside it holds a dining area looking over the estate, and a round heated wooden tub sits next to the pool. Barbecue. The estate vineyard hosts wine tastings.
Location
On the Antognolla estate north of Perugia, close to the golf course, with shops in Umbertide and Pierantonio 10 to 15 minutes by car. Perugia is 20 km away, Gubbio 37 km and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport 42 km.
