The villa
A private residence set within a historic masseria in the Salento countryside, restored and curated with an artist's eye. A patchwork of styles, periods and vivid colour runs through the house, with an internal courtyard at its heart.
Inside
Five bedrooms, each styled around one Mediterranean colour: four doubles and a suite with its own sitting room and a bathroom with tub. Two doubles have en suite shower rooms; the other two share one. A bright open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with fireplace opens onto the terrace.
Outside
A heated 10 by 4 m pool, 1.5 m deep, with steps and a hydromassage corner, set in a paved solarium with loungers. A path leads to a dining area under a pergola of vines and bougainvillea, with a traditional wood fired barbecue.
Location
In the countryside about 5 km from Martano and 12 km from the beaches of Torre dell'Orso. Otranto is 21 km, Lecce 28 km and Gallipoli 53 km. Brindisi Airport is 68 km.
