The villa
A restored late 18th century farmhouse of about 280 sqm in the countryside of Canale di Pirro, in the northern Valle d'Itria. Reclaimed stone floors, lime plaster, hand forged iron and furniture by local artisans meet clean northern lines. Solar powered and naturally insulated.
Inside
A professional grade kitchen flows into a dining area for long, slow meals, beside a light filled living area. Three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin that can become a double, each with an en suite bathroom; the master has a shower and a freestanding bath. A guest bathroom and laundry room.
Outside
A 10 x 4 m pool, open April to October, seems to merge into fields, olive groves and dry stone walls. A pergola shelters al fresco lunches beside a barbecue area and an outdoor lounge. The garden, by Studio Paz, blends native plants, aromatic herbs and sculptural stone paths.

In rolling countryside 7 km from Castellana Grotte and 8 km from Alberobello. Locorotondo is 16 km, Polignano a Mare 22 km, Monopoli 23 km and Bari Airport 64 km.
