The villa
Once part of the historic paper mill of Pale, the villa has been restored in local stone near the Menotre waterfalls. Vintage furnishings, a stone fireplace and a quiet, timeless character.
Inside
On the ground floor, a light filled living room with stone fireplace opens to a dining area seating eight to 10 and a well equipped kitchen, plus a guest bathroom. Upstairs, a small reading lounge leads to three bedrooms, each with an en suite shower room: two doubles and one that can be set as a double or twin. Two sofa beds in the living room suit children.
Outside
A garden of over 3,000 sqm with outdoor lounges, a barbecue, a wood fired oven and a natural waterfall, looking towards the Eremo di Pale. A basin pool of 2.20 x 4.40 m heats up to 35°C, with counter current swimming and hydromassage; an outdoor hot tub seats eight.
Location
In the countryside below the village of Pale, which can be reached on foot by a footpath from the property. Foligno is about 9 km away, with shops and a pharmacy about 3 km. Assisi is 25 km and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi Airport 34 km.
