The villa
A Liberty style residence from the end of the 1800s, set directly on the shore of Lake Garda. Grand piano, formal rooms and a guest history said to include Winston Churchill and Laurence Olivier.
Inside
Ground floor living rooms with a grand piano, a formal dining room for 16 and a kitchen with central island and panoramic breakfast table. Nine bedrooms over two floors: six doubles, one twin and two singles, with eight bathrooms. The lower floor holds a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, spa, home cinema, billiard room, wine cellar and a second kitchen with fireplace. A lift serves the house.
Outside
An infinity pool, heated on request, with sun terraces around it. A lakefront dining terrace with barbecue faces the sunset. Grounds lead to a private beach and pier with direct lake access.
Location
Less than 3 km from the town of Garda, on the eastern shore, facing Salò across the water (20 km by ferry). Peschiera del Garda is about 30 minutes away. Verona Airport is about 30 minutes by car, Bergamo Airport about an hour and a half.
