The villa
A historic stone masseria set in 70 hectares of gardens, ancient woodland and olive groves near Ostuni. Walls so thick the summer heat stays out, high Apulian vaults and period furniture throughout, with a private chapel in the grounds hung with paintings by local artists.
Inside
Five doubles and one twin, all with en suite bathrooms: four doubles and the twin on the first floor, looking over the gardens, and a double in an annex across the courtyard. The ground floor has several sitting and reception rooms, a kitchen, a TV room and a reading room that doubles as a winter dining room. Gym and hammam for ten.
Outside
A very large pool with a Jacuzzi area for 12. The main courtyard holds a Moroccan lemon grove; the former stables are now a candlelit dining room with a long table, and a second courtyard has another outdoor dining area. Chef service is available.
Location
In the countryside 5 km from Ostuni and 10 km from the sea at Torre Guaceto and the Parco delle Dune Costiere. Cisternino, Locorotondo and Alberobello are within easy reach. Brindisi Airport is 43 km.
