The villa
The converted attic of a Renaissance palazzo designed by Giuliano da Sangallo, still owned by the family that built it. Its 15th century belvedere survives as a lookout over the city, and the terraces were redesigned by the landscape architect Pietro Porcinai.
Inside
The main floor has a sitting room, dining room, kitchen and three bedrooms, a double and two twins that can become doubles, each with its own bathroom. A flight down is a fourth en suite bedroom. Upstairs, a second sitting room, a loggia, a Technogym gym and a single room for a nanny or driver. A butler, concierge, daily maid and cook are included.
Outside
Terraces at the height of the belvedere, furnished for dining and with a hot tub, look over Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, Santa Croce, the Bargello and the Badia to the hills of San Miniato and Fiesole. The north terrace, edged with raised pebble beds, frames the Duomo.

In the historic centre of Florence, a few metres from Palazzo Vecchio, above the site of the Roman theatre of Florentia.
