The villa
A 17th century country villa on an archaeological site whose history runs from the Etruscans to the Medici. Over three floors, with beamed ceilings, bookcases and fireplaces, it stands in gardens laid out by a celebrated landscape designer. A cook prepares daily breakfast and lunch.
Inside
The first floor holds the entrance, a living room with fireplaces, a veranda and a master suite with fireplace, study and two bathrooms. On the ground floor: dining room, kitchen, a twin with en suite and access to the rose garden, a double and a single. Upstairs, another double and single, and a top floor double with en suite bath.
Outside
A large pool with a furnished poolside, a private tennis court and a family chapel. Shaded corners for reading and dining look over the countryside. A dépendance for two, available at extra cost, stands between the villa and the pool, with two bathrooms and terraces.
Location
In the green countryside north of Rome, 29 km from the city and about an hour by car from the centre. Olgiata Golf Club is about 9 km, Fiumicino Airport 33 km and Ciampino 40 km.
