Panzano
Below Panzano, an old stone house with an indoor heated pool and bar beside the bedrooms, and a second pool outdoors.
The villa
One of three houses on a 20 acre estate below Panzano, each with its own grounds and pool, screened by tall hedgerows. Original stone walls and tiled roofs outside; designer furnishings and contemporary comfort within, powered by solar and geothermal energy.
Inside
On the main level, a living and dining area with fireplace and a kitchen, all flowing onto the terrace, plus a guest bathroom. A short flight up, a second living room, an indoor heated pool with soft lighting, a small bar and sitting area, and four bedrooms: three doubles, two convertible to twins, and a triple, each with an en suite shower.
Outside
A Mediterranean garden of olive trees with terraces and original stonework over the vineyards. On a lower level, an 8 x 4 m pool, open from May to September, with loungers, and a dining table with barbecue.
Location
Less than 1 km from Panzano, reached by a short unpaved road. Greve in Chianti is 10 km, Castellina in Chianti 15 km, Siena 42 km and Florence 44 km. Florence airport is 52 km.
