The villa
A 15th and 16th century stone house on a hilltop beside the Abbey of Passignano, among Antinori vineyards. Restored by a specialist architect and local artisans with original materials, and furnished with antiques from Italy and France.
Inside
On the ground floor: an entrance hall, a double with en suite bathroom, a kitchen with a seven burner stove and double oven, a dining room and a living area with fireplace, all opening onto the pool. Half a floor up: a second living room with fireplace and further bedrooms. Five doubles in all and a twin in the turret, with five bathrooms.
Outside
A 10 acre estate of Mediterranean garden and original oak woodland. A path leads to the 16 x 4.5 m saltwater pool. A furnished patio beside the kitchen for dining, a barbecue, and rosemary and lavender around the house. The turret gives a 360 degree view of Chianti.

On a hilltop 2 km from Sambuca, facing the Abbey of Passignano. Greve in Chianti is 14 km, San Gimignano 29 km, Florence 34 km and Siena 48 km. Florence airport is 43 km.
