The villa
An old house in the village of Raito, above Vietri sul Mare, reached by a small path and an iron gate. Antiques, modern art and Vietri ceramics fill the rooms; palm, lemon and olive trees frame views of the coast.
Inside
On the ground floor, a living room with stone fireplace opens through French doors onto a veranda, beside the dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub. Upstairs, two doubles, the master with a treadmill, share a bathroom with bathtub; both have park and sea views. Below, a double with en suite shower opens onto the garden.
Outside
A large pool, lit by spotlights at night and heated on request, overlooks the Gulf of Salerno. Terraced gardens with lawns, flowers, parasols and chaise longues; a pergola off the kitchen and an outdoor dining area with barbecue. The estate produces its own wine.
Location
In Raito, with a bar, pharmacy and grocery shops, about 1.3 km from the centre of Vietri sul Mare. Salerno is 9 km and Amalfi 21 km; Salerno airport is 26 km, Naples airport 57 km. Parking for two or three cars.
