The villa
A 1906 residence on a gentle slope in Taormina, facing the sea and Mount Etna across four levels. Modernist furniture, vintage pieces, antique Sicilian lace curtains and a curated art collection give each room its own story. It sleeps ten.
Inside
Five doubles, all en suite. The 34 sqm Lisbon Suite has its own kitchen, sitting area and terrace looking to Calabria; the 35 sqm Athens Suite a double living space and library; the Istanbul and Sybaris rooms are intimate doubles. La Merletteria, a ground floor annex with private entrance, has a sea view kitchen. The dining area is the heart of the house.
Outside
A 4 by 8 m pool framed in lava stone among olive trees, prickly pears and pines. A gazebo draped in white fabric shades summer lunches, and a panoramic terrace crowns the house with a hot tub for up to six facing the open sea. Parking for two cars 100 m away.
Location
About 800 m from Porta Messina and Corso Umberto in Taormina, with a trattoria 230 m away and shops and a pharmacy on the same street. Mazzarò is 4 km away, Giardini Naxos 7 km and Catania Fontanarossa Airport 66 km.
